ABC7 Trip

Hello! So Last week my class and I had a small trip to ABC7, and it was my first time in a news station. I learned some interesting things on the trip and one of the things that surprised me while I was there was the fact that news anchors controlled the speed of the prompter with their foot. It was kind of amazing seeing and thinking about how everyone in the studio has to be quick on their feet and that it is a high stress environment, especially seeing footage of real time footage of the hurricane happening it was pretty surreal for me. While it was a relatively small studio that's meant for the public it's pretty amazing that they are still going strong and even getting new technology.
